**About the Opportunity**:
Currently, Orion Construction is seeking an enthusiastic **Junior Social Media** Coordinator **to join our team in **Langley, BC** on a full-time basis.

While no two days will be alike in this fast-paced role, your more typical responsibilities will include:

- Working closely with the marketing team and coordinating the day-to-day activities of our social media channels
- Coordinating the workflow and publishing of social content to the platforms: planning and executing a content calendar, creating graphics + videos, editing photos, copywriting, monitoring engagement (e.g. comments and shares), analyzing results, and developing monthly reports
- Learning, sharing, and staying on top of social media report best practices
- Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the performance of digital channels/activities using tools such as Google Analytics
- Assisting with Sales Proposal creation
- Creating digital marketing collaterals such as pitch decks, PowerPoint presentations, one-pagers, and brochures
- Updating our websites as needed
- Developing creative ideas, suggesting innovative ways of delivering digital content, and keeping up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends
- Performing site tours for progress photos and videos using the company’s camera and drone
- Being responsible for video and photo editing to feed various digital marketing materials
- Contributing to and working with relevant teams and stakeholders to implement the digital side of integrated marketing campaigns
- Assisting with the design of various marketing materials as needed
- Supporting the marketing team with general marketing duties to ensure the department performs smoothly

**More About You**:
In order to qualify for this role, you will need to have **a sense of creativity and be eager to start a career in social media and content creation marketing.** Experience with photography, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and video production are an asset.

You have strong attention to detail, and a deep passion for social media in order to build and establish Orion's brand awareness and engagement. Ideally, you have hands-on experience with Hootsuite, Vimeo, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
