HOURS: Rotating shifts with other team members during the week and on weekends, and overnights. (We are now open 24/7/365)
- Flexible and has a positive attitude
- Able to multitask and still maintain a professional and organized work environment.
- Experience with Avimark is an asset.
- Caring for our patients; feeding, walking and cleaning their housing space
- Experience in an ER/Referral Facility or fast paced practice
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Ensure animal housing or enclosure is clean, sanitary and comfortable
- Excellent customer service skills
- General housekeeping duties
- Willingness to learn more regarding; pet nutrition, veterinary services, updated medical office procedures
- Assisting the Veterinarian and RVT with their duties
- Handling and restraint of animals for blood draws and other treatments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 1-2 year work Experience at a Veterinary clinic/hospital/animal facility
- Post secondary assistant program

WAGES: Commensurate with experience and 3 month probationary period.

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- ACA: 1 year (preferred)
