**Required Qualifications**:
Masters of Nursing degree required. Valid practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) required. Minimum 3 years of full-time clinical experience in an acute Pediatric Oncology/hematology practice with membership to COG. APHON certification. Able to build effective coalitions with leaders. Knowledge of health care organizations and current trends to provide a whole systems approach. Knowledge of wide range of research design methodologies. Demonstrated clinical leadership especially in the area of nursing specialty practice. Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated creativity, flexibility, and initiative.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Recent operational management experience. Combinations of training and expertise will be considered.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Prosci, AIW and change management an asset. Able to work with all ages of varying race, gender, language, education, culture, socioeconomic background, religion and sexual orientation. The CNS must be able to pivot in response to the dynamic needs of clients and families. SPS training and awareness. Technical prowess with high computer literacy. Conflict resolution, able to manage competing priorities and frequent interruptions.
