I will teach and mentor you everything you need to know to reach your full potential as a hairstylist. This includes free hair & marketing classes to keep your skills up to par and grow your clientele. The goal at Sleek is to provide each client with the ultimate customer experience. **What you will be doing**:

- Blonding services, colour services, perform ladies, men’s and children’s hair cuts, styling, fashion colours, colour corrections, extensions, barbering and consults with customers
- Maintain a professional environment in the salon, cleaning/stocking
- Make product recommendations and participate in incentives and retail goal setting

**Your experience and skills include**:

- Minimum of 2 years hairdressing / styling experience is preferred
- Hair Stylist certification (or in cosmetology school)
- Red Seal Hairstyling license (or in cosmetology school)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A highly motivated and energetic personality.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to speak with customers daily.
- Professional appearance
- Work various shifts, including weekends.
- Must be able to lift and carry 20+lbs and be able to sit/stand/walk for extended periods
- Reliable transportation
- Working knowledge of retail sales, inventory control systems and visual merchandising is strongly preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of computers, mobile devices and social media platforms.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner.
- Is committed to working scheduled hours and has the flexibility to work additional hours based on changing business needs.
- Strong time management and organization skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once.
- Ability to present a professional image and interact positively with the public.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, at all levels within and outside the organization.
- Use sales techniques such as suggestive selling to secure maximum sales
- Complete transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues
