$71,000 to $101,000 depending on background and relevant experience

**What You Will Do**
- change customer rates.
- construct new utilities or execute major capital projects.
- acquire or dispose of utilities or specific assets; or
- comply with previous directives from the regulator.
- Review and interpret financial models that support and inform regulatory filings.
- Perform industry and regulatory research as required, under the guidance of senior team members
- Perform additional regulatory and compliance duties as needed to support Corix’s objectives
- Work alongside the operations, finance, legal, and tax departments to prepare material for regulatory proceedings.
- Conduct necessary research to respond to information requests from regulators or customers and provide basic regulatory guidance to staff.
- Support internal regulatory processes by documenting and updating procedures and practices.
- Attend meetings, public consultation sessions and regulatory hearing as required, under the guidance of more experienced staff members.
- Carry out additional regulatory and compliance-related tasks as needed.

**What You Bring**

**Education and Experience**
- 1-3 years of relevant experience. Experience in a utility/energy sector would be advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as commerce, finance, accounting, or economics would be acceptable.
- Graduate business degree (MBA), professional finance designation (CFA), or professional accounting designation (CPA) is preferred.

**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities**- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate complex matters in simple terms to various stakeholders
- Ability to take initiative with sound decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues from various departments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret relevant legislation, policies, rules and guidelines is an asset.
