**Position Summary**:
As a Business Development Specialist, you will be instrumental in enhancing our sales pipeline, cultivating client relationships, and strengthening our foothold in the security services industry. This role suits a proactive, ambitious professional who excels at client engagement, thrives on achieving targets, and is ready to work autonomously.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Market Development**: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, actively engage with potential clients, and champion Rigid’s services across the Lower Mainland.
- **Sales and Negotiation**: Conduct in-person sales meetings, educate clients about our offerings, and customize proposals to meet client-specific needs.
- **Client Engagement**: Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, with a focus on establishing long-term partnerships.
- **Lead Conversion**: Convert leads into dedicated clients through consultative sales and relationship-building.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with Rigid’s leadership team to ensure a seamless client experience and high satisfaction.
**Qualifications**:
- **Experience**: 3-5 years in B2B sales or commission-based roles required; experience in security services is a plus.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver persuasive sales presentations.
- **Self-Starter Mindset**: Highly motivated, independent, and comfortable setting and achieving personal sales targets.
- **Tech-Savvy**: Proficient in CRM software and technology tools.
- **Driver’s License**: Valid Class 5 license and a clean driving record required for client-related travel.
**Compensation & Benefits**:
- **Compensation Structure**: 100% commission-based with a potential to earn added incentives after 12 months.
- **Earning Potential**: Target earnings up to $100,000+ annually, based on performance and achievement of sales goals.
- **Bonuses & Profit Sharing**: Performance-based incentives after one year with Rigid

**Pay Range**: $36,192 - $150,000 per year

- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, with occasional weekends as needed.
