Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a
Housekeeping/Janitorial Staff member. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and
hygiene standards of our washrooms, cabins, and various buildings throughout the resort.
Additionally, the position may entail light landscaping duties as needed to enhance the overall
aesthetic appeal of our grounds

Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests in all operating
aspects of the resort under the guidance and direction of Tsawaak RV Resort Management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform thorough cleaning of washrooms, cabins, and common areas to ensure

cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust designated areas according to established procedures.
- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and showers, to maintain
- hygiene standards.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
- Monitor and replenish restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
- Assist with light landscaping tasks, including watering plants, trimming bushes, and
- removing debris to maintain the appearance of the resort grounds.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working
- environment.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- promptly.
- Collaborate with fellow team members and supervisors to ensure efficient operation and
- excellent guest service.
- Sow seeds and plant cuttings
- Dig holes for planting and posts
- Mix planting soils and follow prescribed procedures
- If required spray and treat plants and trees for diseases and pests
- Position and regulate irrigation systems
- Dig, cut, and transplant trees, shrubs, flowers, and plants
- Provide information to guests when requested
- Operate equipment safely, effectively, and appropriately
- Maintain inventory and order materials as required in conjunction with management
- Evaluate and manage watering programs if required (water restrictions)
- Detect, report, and control all plant health and pest problems
- Snow removal
- Basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills, and experience
- Ability to meet deadlines and proactively find solutions to problems
- Housekeeping experience is an asset
- Assist colleagues wherever necessary
- Additional responsibilities may be tasked as per the recommendation of management.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or similar roles preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and
- prolonged standing.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- Ability to participate in continuous improvement processes
- Good observation skills
- Ability to follow safe work procedures
- Ability to create a good relationship with customers at the workplace or in other
- locations
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all
- times
- First Aid Certificate is considered an asset
