Hi we are Gerry and Erin a husband and wife team who is looking to expand our ever growing fast paced salon We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team. We are wanting to offer a percentage split or hourly but can be discussed as we go.

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. You will interact with pet owners to understand their needs and preferences, while also maintaining a clean and safe environment for both pets and staff.

**Duties**
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and cats of all breeds.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets’ needs and grooming options.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Handle pets safely and compassionately, using techniques that minimize stress during the grooming process.
- Assist with heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or multiple pets as needed.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in pet grooming is a must.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with pet owners and address their concerns.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when managing larger pets or equipment.
- A genuine passion for animal care and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Pay: $16.75-$36.31 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 40 per week
