Dog Groomer/Bather

Poochiniis Dog Spa in High River is looking for a Dog Groomer/Bather to join the team.
We offer full grooming services and need more staff as we grow and expand the family business

Position Details

- Full body groom services that improve and maintain the dogs hygiene, comfort, and appearance
- Previous experience working with a variety of breeds is beneficial, however we are willing to train the right person who has a passion for dogs
- Must be able to form a bond with pets and able to connect with them
- Ability to learn about the different breed cuts or kennel cuts
- Must be able to maintain focus and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work with scissors, trim nails, use clippers, and dremel nails, etc.
- Physically able to lift dogs when needed
- Wash, dry, and brush them based on grooming needs
- Clean up workstations, vacuuming, disinfecting tools, etc.
- Other duties as assigned

Flexible Part-Time Schedule to Start

Monday – Friday
Hours vary between 10:00 – 5:00
Occasional Saturday

Salary

$18 + per hour depending on experience
