**What we offer**

Mattamy is currently seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our Marketing team for an exciting opportunity to begin their career with an industry leader while completing their studies. As a part of the Alberta Marketing and Sales team, the Marketing Co-op Student will be integral to our success, by having a strong understanding of timelines, budgets, and general operations. The co-op student will support the whole team through every part of the customer journey from acquisition through to final sales and will work very closely with the Marketing Specialist and Manager.

**What you’ll do**
- Full marketing audit and inventory management
- Community web pages, third party sites, sales materials - brochure, floorplans, handouts, community maps, MSCP.
- SEO and competitor key word audit
- Support Manager with brand platform transition of remaining communities
- Conduct research using Google and other tools to gather data on market trends, competitors and customer preferences
- Assistance with competitive shopping and value graphs
- Maintain schedules, pricing, marketing collateral in shared folders. (assist with reorganizing Sharepoint files)
- Support the Manager with new phase openings
- Ensure sales center and show homes are maintained as per Mattamy standards for presentation.
- Support marketing with various administrative tasks as they arise.
- Assist and attend community events (requires flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required).
- Help maintain/create reports
- Liaise with internal departments across divisions, external ad agency and suppliers.
- Coming up with new ways for the team to stay organized and on track with deliverables.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new marketing ideas and initiatives.

**What you bring**
- Must be enrolled in a co-op or internship program.
- Actively pursuing a degree in Business/Real Estate and/or Marketing or related discipline.
- A basic understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Excellent judgment, strategic thinking, and forward planning.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
