Under the supervision of the Manager of Support Services, this position is responsible for the collection of soiled linen from user areas, washing and delivery of clean linen and related items and monitoring and maintaining linen quotas for user areas. Inspects linen and apparel for tears, missing buttons, broken zippers and performs minor repairs. Identifies and reports residents' and facility-owned irreparable items to the Manager of Support Services. Prepares and applies labels to residents' clothing as required. Maintains a clean, safe work environment by keeping work area organized and tidy. The incumbent is also responsible for assisting the Manager of Support Services with assessing the quality of linen & laundry services.

Physical requirements include prolonged standing, reaching, lifting, pushing, grasping and bending while lifting up to 50lbs (22.68kg) and interacting with others throughout the workday. Repetitive motions for an extended duration of time are required. Must work with various cleaning chemicals and solutions and comply with regulations and policies.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 19 per week

**Salary**: From $15.51 per hour
