Our company has been suppling the growing community Canada wide since 1927 Our small workforce has a strong family-like culture and is knowledgeable and/or has a strong interest in the horticulture, golf, landscaping, and greenhouse industries.
Many of our employees have retired while working at the Professional Gardener with our general manager having worked here for 60 years.
If you have any interest in the horticulture, golf, greenhouse or landscaping industries there are many opportunities to learn. The owner has created and developed many of our famous products and our team loves to share what they know about the industries.
**Please note that posted starting wage is not accurate as starting wage is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.**
**Responsibilities**:
**What you will be doing**
- Cleaning and organizing the warehouse
- Pulling and loading customer pick ups
- Unloading/ loading delivery trucks with a dolly or forklift
- Assisting with annual inventory
- Adhering to all company safety processes and procedures
- Completing tasks in a timely manner
**To be successful in this role you must**
- Be able to lift 80lbs bales
- Enjoy working within a diverse team
- Have a strong sense of urgency
- Be proactive
- Provide excellent customer service
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
