We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated & passionate people to join our team We strive to attract employees who have an enthusiasm and passion for enthusiastic customer service and great drinks Having experience working with customer service, fast-paced environment, food and beverage experience is an asset but not a requirement. Functions of this job entail cash handling at the POS, customer service, sales & daily routine cleanliness & maintenance, tea and drink preparation, and various other duties required in a cafe. **STORE LOCATION**:5981 Steeles Ave East, Scarborough, Ontario, M1V 5P7 **KEY QUALIFICATIONS**: - 1+ years of Food & Beverage experience considered an asset - Strong customer service skills - Enjoys working independently and in a team setting - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Self-motivated, organized, and excels under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Must be able to work flexible hours including morning, late nights, weekends, and holidays **RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Provide exceptional customer service for all patrons; - Prepare drinks, teas, and toppings; - Routine cleaning, dish washing, maintenance; - Operate the Point of Sale and safely handle cash; - Communicate and work effectively in a team environment; - Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following company standard operating procedures (SOPs) - Perform various cafe duties as required. **REQUIRED EDUCATION**: - High school graduate or equivalent. - Food handler and First Aid certification considered an asset. **OPERATING HOURS AND REQUIRED AVAILABILITY**: - Opening shifts can be starting as early as 9:30am.
