**What You Bring to the Table**
- Journeyman Automotive Service Technician or Journeyman Heavy Duty Service Technician
- 3+ years of experience in a Fleet Management capacity within the landscape or similar industry (construction, logistics, distribution, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in transportation compliance
- Expertise and extensive knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
- Previous fleet management and tracking software system knowledge

**About the Opportunity**
The Fleet Manager is responsible for the overall health of the Seasonal Impact and affiliates' fleet, equipment, and building maintenance. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for facilitating the operational effectiveness of all vehicles & equipment including management and purchasing, scheduling repairs, and maintaining compliance. (insurance, registration, and vehicle files)
- Improve/maintain detailed, centralized inventory for all vehicles and equipment assets registrations, warranties, inspections, servicing, etc. for all locations for recordkeeping and reporting.
- Oversee overall spending of fleet/shop operations-related purchases, and approval of P.O.s for parts and repairs charged to the Shop(s).
- Lead the annual equipment audit with inputs from division leaders and branch managers.
- Effectively evaluate, monitor, analyze and identify all driver compliance and non-compliance issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Lead internal and external compliance reporting, providing compliance advice and assistance, conducting compliance investigations, manage ongoing education programs.
- Schedule, inspect, repair, and assess all company vehicles for condition, compliance, safety, driver documentation.
- Oversee the upkeep of the Company’s maintenance shops through regular clean-up, preventive maintenance programs, and inspections ensuring safety and environmental health.

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Landscape/Construction Industry: 5 years (preferred)
- Transportation Compliance.: 5 years (preferred)
- Fleet Manager: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Automotive or Heavy Duty Journeyman/Red Seal (preferred)
