**Position Summary**:
Performs preventive maintenance, assigned project work and emergency repairs by adhering to pre-operational checklists. Maintains neat and accurate records, and follows the directives of the Supervisor to assure that each line and all major equipment are operating at the safest and most efficient levels to maximize production, quality, and customer satisfaction.

**Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities**:
1. Responsible for all electrical modifications and repairs performed following lock-out tag out procedures.

2. Leads in the development, troubleshooting and maintaining of PLC programs being utilized on our process equipment.

3. Maintain all Electrical Schematic Drawings up to date.

4. Co-ordinates activities of outside services in the maintenance and servicing of all equipment, machines and cranes.

5. Responsible for development and maintenance of our Control Systems.

6. Prepares reports as necessary.

7. Oversees Company's preventative maintenance program (electrically).

8. Co-ordinates requisitions of parts and supplies.

9. Co-ordinates all safety aspects of electrical systems.

10. Performs all other related duties as assigned, including electrical inspection by the local Hydro Department.

**General**:

- Complies with the designated ISO/TS16949 responsibilities, environmental management system, health & safety and company rules and guidelines.
- Ensures company safety policies are adhered to and safe work habits are utilized by all department personnel and visitors.
- Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) as required at all times.
- Maintains a high standard of general housekeeping consistent with 5S standards.
- Strives for continuous improvement.

**Position Qualifications**:

- Certified Industrial Electrician with 3-5 years’ experience in an industrial environment.
- Working knowledge of control systems including programming of PLC’s is essential.
