**S&R Mechanical**, a leading provider of mechanical and plumbing services in various sectors, is seeking a detail-oriented Shop Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Coordinator will play a crucial role in ordering, scheduling and ensuring efficient production on the Shop floor. This position supports our construction projects in regard to prefab, acting as the primary liaison between the Project Site Foremen and the Shop Production team.

This position is based at our Prefab Shop in Orleans, ON, and reports to the Shop Foreman.

**Primary Responsibilities **include but are not limited to:

- Create purchase orders for daily material requests/credits for project prefabrication
- Coordinate with suppliers to send orders promptly.
- Set daily production targets and analyze results
- Utilize BIM PRO to ensure all projects are properly uploaded, and ready for production
- Create Shop daily/weekly schedules and Delivery Schedules
- Provide backup support to Shop Foreman as needed
- Communicate effectively with Site Foremen, Project Managers, Office Support Team and Senior Management. There may also be some communications with Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Vendors, and other project stakeholders.
- Continue to uplevel our software usage and be open to research independently to provide ongoing development for shop prefabrication team.
- Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned.

**Required Skills**:

- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and verbal) is an asset
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Must be comfortable working in a Shop (PPE required)
- Proficient in creating interactive spreadsheets for project reporting and tracking.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Positive team player with a proactive attitude towards learning and innovation.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
