**Job Overview**

**Duties**:

- Set up and operate laser cutting machines to cut, trim, or form workpieces according to specifications
- Perform quality inspections of parts to ensure they meet production standards
- Program machines using CNC controls
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Utilize hand tools for finishing workpieces as needed maintain accurate timesheets
- follow all QS-9000 procedures
- maintain job book/job folder
- attend meetings as required
- consider alternative solutions for given tasks or problems
- observe all company safety rules, policies, and procedures
- ensure adequate communication with other program team members
- attend all required training courses
- participate in MAMT’s continuous improvement activities
- foster good employee relations
- keep supervisor informed of all program issues
- ensure that the customer’s requirements, which include project timing, are understood, and met
- be responsible for all parameters of assigned tasks
- review project direction with Project Leader
- ensure the shop environment is kept safe, clean, and organized to enable timely and safe manufacturing techniques
- perform all other duties as determined by the General Manager or his designate

**Experience**:

- Prior experience in laser cutting operations is required
- Proficiency in quality inspection techniques
- Knowledge of operating hand tools such as lathe and plasma cutting equipment is a plus
- Able to navigate file folders on the computer/ IT skills a must-Organizational skills/ time management a must
- Must be physically capable
- excellent problem-solving skills
- successful completion of tow motor course

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
