Markham, Canada GMA Clinic (Grand Medical Aesthetics Clinic) Full time

The Grand Medical Aesthetics Clinic is a new medical aesthetic clinic in Unionville Ontario and is looking for an experienced Aesthetician/ Facialist/Medical Aesthetician / Laser Technician to join the team. We are currently recruiting aesthetician and/ or medical aesthetician to perform various facial rejuvenation treatments including but not limited to: advanced facials, cosmetic lasers, microdermabrasion, chemical peels and medical grade needling. **Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assess the patients’ medical history and skin condition and determine appropriate treatment specific to the individuals’ needs and concerns
- Educate patients on proposed treatments and associated benefits
- Communicate treatment plan with patients to ensure realistic expectations
- Perform aesthetic treatments such as conventional facials, cosmetic laser treatment, microdermabrasion, chemical peels and microneedling in a safe, hygienic, professional and comfortable manner
- Before and after each treatment, ensure treatment room, equipment and products are well-maintained and sanitary
- Follow clinic policies and standard operating procedures
- Must familiarize with various medical aesthetic treatments offered at clinic to recommend a combination of services for optimal treatment results
- Recommend patients on home care and skin care products and schedule next appointments as required
- Professional appearance, well-groomed, and always dressed in uniform

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum 3 year of experience as an aesthetician or medical aesthetician/laser technician
- Completion of a medical aesthetician / dermatology / esthetician dermatology certification program
- Fluency in English (ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese a strong asset)
- Must possess knowledge of non-surgical medical aesthetic procedures
- Team player with a strong work ethic and a desire to continuously learn and improve
- Demonstrate a strong passion and enthusiasm for antiaging medicine
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build a strong client base
- Available to work on weekends and evenings as required

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
