Red Sands Properties is seeking an experienced Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this part-time position, you will be responsible for performing a range of pest control services at various job sites around Charlottetown and surrounding areas.

This position is available starting in September 2024.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Job Location: Charlottetown, PEI

**Salary**: $24.00-$34.00 per hour, based on experience

Experience: Minimum 2 years experience required

Job type: Permanent with 6-month probation period, company benefits after 6-months

Vacation: 2 weeks paid vacation or 4% vacation pay

Mileage: paid when using personal vehicle

As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and implementing pest control solutions. Your role will involve commercial and residential pest control services. You will work independently to ensure the effective removal and prevention of pest infestations while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points.
- Develop customized pest control plans based on the type of infestation, property size, and client preferences.
- Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and provide recommendations for long-term pest management.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided, including inspection reports, treatment logs, and invoices.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery and meet client expectations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address their concerns and provide exceptional customer service.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in pest control is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in pest control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle.
