Our finance team is growing here at rcs construction. **We are on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team based in our Bedford office.** Are you seeking to gain experience in a fun, collaborative and fast paced organization, this could be the perfect opportunity for you As an integral part of our finance team, the Accounts Payable Clerk will play a key role in maintaining accurate payables records, supporting effective cash flow, and ensuring compliance with internal financial processes and procedures.

**How you’ll spend your day**:

- Administering and maintaining Purchase Order (PO) books
- Verifying the accuracy of invoices
- Entering invoice data into our accounting software
- Processing weekly Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payments
- Reconciling vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assisting with subcontract vendor data entry and payment processing

**What will help you thrive**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in finance, accounting or related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of accounts payable or finance experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with MS Suite
- Experience with Jonas or other accounting systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping
