Position Summary:
ADM Design INC is a growing interior design, renovation and decorating company in York Region and the GTA. We take care to create a unique experience for each and every client, and we rely on our workforce to facilitate the amazing services we can provide.

We are currently seeking an individual to support our operations team in shipping & receiving of our gorgeous high-end products, this includes providing delivery services to and from our showrooms as well as our clients’ homes, maintaining inventory control both in our POS system as well as our warehouse.

This person would be responsible for taking the lead within the operations department to handle & transport merchandise & materials while ensuring accurate record keeping and maintaining a high level of organization and workplace safety standards.

Required Experience, Education, and skills:

- High School Diploma, G.E.D or Equivalent
- Trade/Vocational School certificate or equivalent preferred
- Valid G Class Drivers’ License with a clean driving abstract
- provided by applicant
- 1 or more years in a shipping/receiving role similar role
- 1 or more years driving heavy automobiles such as large vans and trucks
- 1 or more years in a customer service oriented or similar role
- Computer skills including experience with various POS systems considered an asset
- Experience using QuickBooks Considered and asset
- Ability to lift minimum 50 or more lbs
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both by verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple priorities and projects
General Duties and Expectations
- Inspect and verify incoming goods and shipments and reporting any damages, defects or labeling discrepancies
- Accurately package order and deliver to appropriate venue using company provided vehicles
- Conduct product counts and input inventory into POS system
- Unpack incoming shipments and move products to appropriate storage space in warehouse
or showroom
- Provide superior customer service with a focus on problem solving and trouble shooting
- Safely operate company provided vehicles
- Ensure warehouse and showrooms are kept clean, orderly and free of debris, maintaining a high level of safety standards.
- Co-ordinate with operations team to ensure scheduled delivery times are met
- Ability to hang artwork, assist in retail operations and moving furniture
- Responsible to ensure product is properly packaged for transport and storage.
- Maintain surrounding property, clearing walkways from debris and snow, salting as needed
- High level of organizational skills both in inventory control in our POS system as well as
warehouse.
- Co-ordinate with operations team to verify and ensure shipping status, product availability and item location within warehouse and showrooms
- Accurately process all returning goods into the POS system, including follow up of credits
with vendors.
- Adhere to a high degree of professionalism and maintaining the ideal of the ADM brand,
including speaking to employees, customers, and manufacturers
- Demonstrate initiative to recognize other tasks that need to be completed, leveraging a high degree of self-direction
- Other tasks as assigned
