**What You'll Be Doing: Precision and Quality**

You will be the expert responsible for grinding and machining essential components to precise specifications. Your core responsibilities include:

- **Operating equipment** such as cylindrical grinders, lathes, magnets, centers, and 4-jaw chucks.
- **Achieving high precision** by machining or grinding external/internal cylindrical and tapered surfaces.
- **Reading and interpreting** blueprints and engineering documentation.
- **Using a variety of measuring instruments** (micrometers, Vernier calipers, dial indicators, etc.) for quality control.
- **Troubleshooting** and monitoring machines during operation.
- **Inspecting** finished units for defects and conformance to specifications.
- **Collaborating** with your team to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
- Safely **transferring materials** using lifts, cranes, and hoists.

**What We Offer You: Compensation and Benefits**

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Must-Haves**:

- A **High School Diploma** or GED.
- A minimum of **5 years of experience** as a machinist or cylindrical grinder.
- Formal education in **Mechanical Technology**.
- Willingness to work various shifts (days, evenings, weekends).

**Bonus Qualifications (Set You Apart)**:

- **Journeyman Machinist Certification**.
- Experience with **CNC Machining**.
