Construction Contract Administrator

Job Description & Key Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced construction contract administrator to oversee infrastructure construction projects pertaining to roads, sewer and watermain contracts within the City of Toronto.
Updating records, obtaining estimates, receiving & following up on requests, interpreting contract provisions to resolve any claims/questions submitted.
Initiating/conducting meetings regarding contractual problems as requested by the Construction Project Manager
Ensuring all conditions are satisfied before approval by monitoring compliance to contract requirements
Operate in accordance with company programs, policies and legislative requirements.
Key Skills
Experience and skills in negotiating, communication & interpreting contractual agreements
Experience in construction services
Conflict resolution, organization & critical thinking skills
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
