Shuttle Driver

The Shuttle Driver/Concierge will provide all internal/external guest and clients with exceptional service at all times while ensuring the proper standards are met with an emphasis on safe driving.
- **Must be willing to perform dual roles when busy**:

- **Shuttle Driver/Front Desk Agent (training will be provided)**:

- **Must have a valid Class 4 driver’s license**:

- **Clean Driving Abstract (5 years plus)**:

- **Must be available on weekends**:

- **Duties and Responsibilities**:

- High level of Guest Service including, guest recognition, positive and friendly interaction with all guests, eye contact and smiling.
- Perform above and beyond for all guests, fellow team members, and management.
- Ensure all pertinent information is passed to oncoming shifts and receive from outgoing shifts.
- Responsible to greet all guests in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Proper usages of Checklists to ensure all duties are complete.
- High level of Guest Service including, guest recognition, positive and friendly interaction with all guests, eye contact and smiling.
- Assist guests with reservations, directions and any various requests made by our guests.
- Ensure correct secured storage procedures are carried out. Ensure that all stored luggage has a valid luggage tag attached.
- Delivery of mail, messages, faxes and luggage as directed in a prompt, accurate, courteous and friendly manner and documented.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the public area’s including Lobby, the exterior of the building and our hotel shuttle vans. Floor check and assist with gathering luggage carts and room service trays and provide feedback on any maintenance deficiencies.
- Provide shuttle service to our guests in a safe and courteous manner at all times with focus being on the guest(s) and your safety.
- Proper communication in regards to our guests/clients needs with Front Desk and Reservation departments.
- Observes the Bell Desk operating systems and correspond any issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure all memo’s, schedules and/or important internal documents are initialed after you have read and understood.
- Have the ability to identify and enhancements to the department that is an indirect reflection of our guests, fellow team, and management’s perception.
- Attend mandatory Front Office meetings.
- Note any suspicious persons or unattended baggage to the Manager on Duty.
- Other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager.

**Qualifications and Skill Requirements**:

- High school diploma.
- Basic computer knowledge
- Good knowledge of city and hotel’s surrounding areas
- Previous experience is an asset
- Must be able to multitask
- **Must have a valid Class 4 driver’s license**:

- **5 years clean driving abstract**:

- Must be able to remain calm and provide exceptional service at all times
- Versed in Health and Safety procedures including emergency procedures
- Ability to adapt to change in initiative to enhance working environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to read, write and understand English language in order to communicate with guests, other employees, and managers

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
