**Job Description**:
**Work schedule: to be discussed (must be available 1 weekend out of 2)**
**Permanent, full-time position**
**Workplace: 1994 River Rd, London, ON N5W 6C5**
As **Assistant Store Manager**, you will work under the direction of the Branch Manager. You will manage a team, oversee day-to-day operations and ensure that exceptional customer service is delivered while meeting corporate objectives.
In particular, you will be responsible for:
- Promoting a welcoming and safe workplace;
- Assist the Branch Manager with monthly Health & Safety audits;
- Supervise daily operations such as scheduling, sales and production targets;
- Support employees by participating in daily tasks and operational initiatives;
- Assist the Branch Manager in employee communications.
- Carry out, with the Branch Manager, quarterly evaluations of hourly employees;
- Perform various administrative tasks (cash deposits, employee payroll, schedules, etc.);
- Support the Branch Manager in the process of recruiting, welcoming and integrating new employees;
- Act as embassador in any organizational change and play an active role in the roll-out to your branch.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in customer service;
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a management role;
- College or university diploma;
- Experience in retail or automotive sales is an asset.
**Skills required**:
- Ability to empower employees;
- Ability to delegate tasks and follow up;
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation);
- Problem-solving skills;
- Collaborative and team-oriented;
- Good time management and prioritization skills;
- Ability to demonstrate empathy.
**Additional information**:
- Office and production environment (50/50);
- Strong possibility of working outdoors and being exposed to hot and cold temperatures.
