Working with our strong technical team and senior Project Managers, you will be responsible for meeting internal and external client objectives and project-specific internal financial goals. You’ll provide motivation and direction to project teams, interact with clients, and be surrounded by mentorship and mentoring opportunities to help you and your team thrive. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across British Columbia, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training._ **Here’s What You’ll Need**: - Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, biology/ecology, geology or other closely related technical degree - Previous Project Management experience (budget preparation and tracking, schedule, task management, team management) on environmental projects within western Canada. - Previous experience working in environmental consulting in western Canada. - Knowledge of provincial and federal environmental legislation and regulatory requirements associated with permitting and Environmental Assessments in Western Canada - Ability to develop project strategy in conjunction with senior technical staff, effectively communicate it with clients, and drive the strategy with project teams. - Strong consideration for safety - Positive attitude and self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills suited to working with a variety of different teams, clients, and stakeholders - Interest in inspiring and supporting the development of others through high quality delivery for our clients, and through mentoring team members Ideally, You’ll Also Have: - Master’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, biology/ecology, geology or other closely related technical degree - Experience with renewable energy projects - At Jacobs, we’re challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world’s most critical problems for thriving cities, resilient environments, mission-critical outcomes, operational advancement, scientific discovery and cutting-edge manufacturing, turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good.
