Kinesiologist / Physical Therapy Assistant

**MSK Rehabilitation Services (MSK Rehab),**a division of **Santé Circle Health**, is a well-respected multi-disciplinary clinic dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through a collaborative approach. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Kinesiologist / Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Rehabilitation Services, the Kinesiologist / Physical Therapy Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the treatment and rehabilitation of patients, assisting physiotherapists, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. This position is ideal for someone passionate about patient care, with experience in sports therapy, WSIB, and private physiotherapy cases.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Conduct patient-centered exercise programs focused on work hardening, return-to-sport programs, and functional testing.
- Provide exceptional patient care by addressing their needs and ensuring a welcoming clinical environment.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace, including the upkeep of therapy equipment and tools.
- Liaise with patients, physiotherapists, and other team members to support treatment plans and ensure smooth communication.
- Perform administrative duties such as scheduling, documenting patient progress, and maintaining accurate records.
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and ongoing self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance rehabilitation outcomes for WSIB, sports therapy, and private physiotherapy cases.
- Support clinical initiatives, including work hardening programs, active rehabilitation, and early return-to-function strategies.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in assisting with active rehabilitation and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, colleagues, and referral sources.
- Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with third-party insurers such as WSIB, including documentation and reporting processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Graduated from an accredited Kinesiology Degree Program or OTA/PTA Diploma Program.
- Experience working with sports therapy, WSIB, and private physiotherapy patients.
- Knowledge of work hardening programs, return-to-sport programs, and functional testing.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to create a positive patient experience.
- Previous clinical experience assisting physiotherapists in treating various patient populations.
- Proficiency in clinic workflows, documentation, and administrative tasks.
