Caffe Fantastico is a local family-owned company, with three licensed bustling locations in Victoria. We have an exciting new opportunity for a full-time **Production** **Baker / Pastry Assistant**, at our Quadra Village Roastery location.

Reporting to, and working with our talented Pastry Chef, this position is responsible for daily production and bake-off of house staples, as well as contribute to prep in our our growing pastry and dessert program.

This is a full-time, 5 days a week position, with shifts primarily 5am-1pm. Weekend availability required.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Prepare from scratch all in-house baking, following established recipes
- Bake off fresh daily baking in line with par levels
- Prep for pastry and dessert menu, following prep list set by Pastry Chef

**Knowledge and Skills required**
- Must be self-motivated, ability to work independently and apart of our team
- Proven baking and kitchen experience
- Great communication skills
- Completion of Foodsafe Level 1

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
