Coastal Support Services Ltd. is looking for a Residential/ Community Support Worker with our Brain Injury Program

**Nanaimo, BC**

**20 - 40 hours** per week

**$24.00 **an hour

**Position Summary**
- Provide direct, front-line supports in the home of two male individuals with acquired brain injuries in 24-hour residential care.
- Assist with personal hygiene, dietary needs, meal preparation, housekeeping, and community inclusion.
- Contribute to individual’s maintenance of a caring and dignified living space.
- Maintain detailed progress notes after each shift and report to the Team Lead.

**Education & Experience**
- Residential Care Aid / Community Support Worker Diploma or equivalent education in a related field is preferred.
- 1-year minimum experience working with individuals with acquired brain injuries or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Experience with setting personal boundaries.
- Driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract will be required prior to start date.
- Ability to obtain a current Criminal record check for working with vulnerable adults.
- FoodSafe Level 1 is an asset.
- Coastal Support Services Ltd. Is currently following the Provincial Health Order dated October 15, 2021. You must have proof of vaccination against Covid-19.
