Greentree Outdoor Living is Edmonton’s premier landscape design and build contractor, specializing in high-end outdoor spaces. We seek a strong **Operations Manager** to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring projects run efficiently, teams are aligned, and customers receive top-tier service.
**The Role**:
We’re looking for a hands-on leader with **extensive experience in landscaping operations, project estimation, and conflict resolution**. The Operations Manager will be the go-to person for every conflict, question, and issue, taking full responsibility for the company's operations, equipment, and overall performance.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Oversee daily operations** across sales, design, and construction to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our quality standards.
- **Lead and manage teams**, including project managers, designers, and construction crews, to keep everyone aligned and accountable.
- **Optimize scheduling and resource allocation** to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- **Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction** by resolving issues proactively and maintaining strong client communication.
- **Monitor financial performance** by tracking job costs, approving invoices, and working closely with the controller to manage cash flow.
- **Improve systems and processes** to increase efficiency and eliminate bottlenecks.
- **Drive team accountability** by setting clear expectations, monitoring progress, and ensuring follow-through.
- **Serve as the primary point of contact** for all operational conflicts, questions, and issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
- **Manage equipment and resources**, ensuring proper maintenance, utilization, and inventory control.
- **Work closely with leadership** to support business growth, including expansion into new markets.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- **Proven experience in operations management within the landscaping industry**, with a strong understanding of landscape/hardscape materials and processes. operationsmanager.org

- **Experience in project estimation**, including preparing bids, understanding material costs, and labor requirements.
