We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician for our client located in Brampton. They are the biggest suppliers of construction equipment. The Heavy Equipment Technician will work in the Brampton shop to diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance, as well as execute complete rebuilds on a variety of company equipment and attachments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Trouble shoot, repair, install, and perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical maintenance & repair on various models of equipment and attachments in the field.
- Program, update and calibrate on-board control systems.
- Focus on key processes such as completion of service work papers, submission of daily timecards, working with dealer online support, filling out warranty information, and conducting housekeeping duties.
- Perform daily duties in a manner conducive to a safe workplace.
- Participate in all required Health & Safety training.

**Requirements**:

- Journeyman 421A required or 310T license (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience working on industrial/construction equipment.
- Previous equipment shop mechanic and/or field service technician experience is required.
- Demonstrated previous shop environment skills are required.
- Proficient with computer systems and machine diagnostics.
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours during normal business hours in support of the business needs.
- Must have a valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driver abstract.

**Location**: Brampton

**Working Hours**: 7 am to 5 pm (Mon - Fri)

**Pay Rate**:$33/hr -$37/hr (with efficiency bonus)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $33.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
