Construction Heavy Equipment Operator

With over 20 years of experience amongst the senior management, Pearl Builders delivers a wide variety of projects. We manage projects from construction to property management encompassing a complete design/build. Our work ranges from the management and development of completely new builds, refurbishments and fit-outs for Companies.
We are looking for a reliable Machine Operator to undertake upkeep and repair tasks at the interior or exterior of premises. We will rely on you to keep our facilities in perfect condition by doing various odd jobs.
**Responsibilities**
- Operate heavy equipment, large or small. Excavator, Dozer.
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
- Working knowledge with reading plans and understanding grades
- Excellent reporting and communication skills, written and verbal.
- Safety-focused attitude with experience working in a construction setting.
**Requirements**:
- 1-2 years of experience as handyman
- Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems.
- Good communication ability
- Vehicle to travel to various job sites across the GTA (must have driver’s license
- Well-organized and apt in problem-solving
- Attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills
