**Position Summary**
The employees greet and serve guests, prepare food, maintain food safety and sanitation standards, and handle or processes light paperwork. The cashier is the face of the brand and executes what Pinochio represents, good food, a great atmosphere and exceptional customer services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders.
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of the menu and explains flavor profiles to guests.
- Uses POS to record the transactions and collects payment from guests.
- May perform opening/closing procedures dependent on scheduled shifts.
- May be required to hold a key to the restaurant depending on the scheduled shift.
- Prepares food neatly, according to formula, in a timely manner.
- Checks products in the kitchen area and restocks items to ensure enough supply
- Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards.
- Cleans and maintains all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image.
- Utilizes the procedure checklists provided by the restaurant manager or shift leaders.
- Takes and implements direction provided by the shift leaders and/or restaurant managers.
- Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas, and procedures as outlined in the operations manual.
- Completes and hands-on training as required.
- Handles customers' concerns on the spot and understands when to escalate to a more senior person.
- Interact with all employees in a respectful and pleasant manner.
- Interacts with customers in the customer dining area through “table touch”.
- Interact with all employees in a respectful and pleasant manner.
- Communicates with staff on the opposite shift by the communication methods set up in store.
- Provides ample notice of changes to your availability, understanding that we are not able to guarantee shifts.
- Utilize the restaurant's WhatsApp group to communicate about operations. Language must always remain appropriate and positive. Concerns should be sent directly to the manager.

**Prerequisites**:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must speak English fluently.
- Experience and Skills: Must be able to understand and implement written and verbal direction.
- Technology: Must be comfortable with using a POS terminal. Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of how to navigate websites for training courses.
- Physical: Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
