North Vancouver, Canada Sarah Dungait - ABA Full time

**BI's Needed - North & West Vancouver**

Posting on behalf of clients:
We are looking for behaviour interventionist's (BI) to implement ABA programs focusing on social skills, academics and communication skills. You would be working 1:1 with students either in the home, daycare & / or during playdates.

No experience necessary - training and supervision will be provided by Sarah Dungait (BCBA).

This is a great opportunity for those studying Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and other related disciplines.

Applicants must:
Be fun and engaging
Motivated to learn.
Be at least 19yrs old.
Have a clear criminal record check.
Be reliable.
Be willing to commit to 12-months minimum.
Must be available to attend monthly team meetings.

We have multiple positions available - you may be available for one or more opening depending on your schedule.

Here is a little info about each team:
**Pemberton Heights**:

- Here you would be working with a sweet 5yr old supporting her for 3hrs per session at her daycare.
- Sessions are Tues & Thurs mornings (& potentially Friday mornings if available).
- Program focus is on kindergarten readiness and social skills.
- Ideally we would also like the BI to provide 1x 2hr weekend session (Sat) per week. The family reside in West Vancouver.

**Capilano Area**:

- Here you would be working with fun 10yr old twins supporting primarily in their academic literacy - reading, writing, typing and comprehension skills.
- Sessions are 1hr per student (2hrs per visit).
- Looking to cover 4 after-school sessions per week.
- Potential for increased hours in the summer during camp.

**Parkgate Area**:

- Here you would be working with a 2.5yr old with a dual diagnosis of Autism and a rare genetic disorder.
- We are currently working on teaching functional communication skills, play and leisure skills.
- Sessions are 3x per week - there is some flexibility in times although mornings are preferred.
- Sessions take place both at home and in a local playgroup drop-in.

**Deep Cove (Parkgate area) - RESPITE support**
- We are looking for someone to provide respite support over summer to a 10yr old boy with an ASD diagnosis.
- Note: this is not an behaviour interventionist position, rather you would be providing respite services including hanging out, playing games, taking transit within the community, going to the movies, beach etc.
- The family are looking for someone to cover the following weeks:

- July 10th - 14th
- July 24th - 28th
- Aug. 28th - 30th

Hours are flexible.

This could lead to an ongoing support position if the fit is right.

**Please note intervention is delivered in person. There are no options for remote sessions for these clients.**

Compensation will be based on experience.
