Experienced Line Cook

**Position Summary**:Line cooks are truly integral to our operations. The Amano food program is built on scratch cooking with locally sourced ingredients which means intricate, detailed touches to our offerings. Our recipes are built with pride and quality ingredients, requiring a keen eye and attention to the finer details.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintains high quality food standards by following all standards and recipe specs set forth by the Chef
- Executing food from the station at a high level of quality on a consistent basis including
product tasting on a continual basis
- Setting up, breaking down and maintaining a station for food service
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment and reporting any issues to management
- Completes daily routine and thorough station line checks to review food quality and inventory levels, addressing any concerns with the Chef and Sous Chef prior to service
- Maintains appropriate prep and par levels as outlined by Amano standards
- Compliance with all Public Health standards including but not limited to; HACCP logs, temperature controls and food safety regulations
- Maintaining and improving on our cleanliness and aesthetic standards for our open concept kitchen
- Implementing and instilling a “CAYGO” Clean As You Go mentality
- Provides assistance to Chef and Sous Chef as required
- Builds a solid working relationship with the Chef and culinary team to obtain support and counsel when needed
- Passion for consistently delivering and upholding guest experience
- Must have valid Food Handlers Certification
