**Job Type**: Full time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week. Overtime at the rate of 1.5 times after 40 hours per week.

**Wage**: $24 per hour, to be negotiated depending on experience.

**JOB REQUIREMENT**

**Education**: No formal education is required.

**Experience**: On-the-job training will be provided. Previous experience in construction, general labour, or painting is an asset.

**Language**: No language requirement.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team under the supervision of painters and site managers.
- Willingness to work in different environments (indoor, outdoor, at heights, and in varying weather conditions).
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness when handling tools, equipment, and materials.

**JOB DUTIES**

Clean up work areas before and after jobs

Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection

Scrape, sandpaper, prime or seal surfaces prior to painting

Hand over tools as needed to painters

Use sanding and buffing tools to smooth surfaces

Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers, using caulking guns or putty knives

Help Painters to mix paints, using right proportion and color
