Compensation: Starting at 610.00 Weekly

As the Instructor, Level I, you will be responsible for directly supporting the Head Instructor within the specific area. The Instructor, Level I will work as part of a team to ensure a safe, productive, and enjoyable experience for all campers.

WHAT IS AMAZING ABOUT THIS JOB:

- Provide support to the Head Instructor in the planning of activities
- Participates in all assigned aspects of the campers’ day including activities, mealtimes, games, and more
- Follow all camp procedures and policies to include Appleby’s Mutual Respect policy
- Participate in all required training related to health and safety
- Ensure the safety and supervision of all campers
- Ensure all current Safety protocols and Government regulations are being followed

YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

- Secondary school education or minimum completion of Grade 9
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Team oriented, motivational and creative
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Bronze Cross and/or NLS certification in lifeguarding is an asset
- Coaching certifications/experience for Sports Camps is an asset

YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU
- Are enrolled in or have completed Secondary school education
- Are experienced in working/volunteering with children in a camp setting in a leadership role or area of special instruction (Sports, Arts, Science, Discovery etc.)
- Possess excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Are team oriented, motivational and creative
- Can be energetic and enthusiastic
- Possession Bronze Cross and/or NLS certification in lifeguarding is an asset
- Possession of Coaching certifications/experience for Sports Camps is an asset

WORK SCHEDULE*
- Training & Pre-Camp
- Friday May 30, 2025-Evening
- Saturday May 31 and Sun June 1, 2025-Full Day
- Saturday June 14, 2025-Full Day
- Sunday June 15, 2025- Full Day
- Camp Session Dates & Hours
- Camp Work: as assigned Monday June 23 to Friday Aug 29 (excluding June 30 and holidays)
- Dates Subject to Change
