**Systems Fabrication Technician**

Berendsen Fluid Power designs & manufactures custom Hydraulic Power Units & Systems, Manifolds & Controls for their customers. _**We are currently looking for a Systems Fabrication Technician**_

The individual need to exhibit competency in all skills involved in the fabrication and assembly of custom Hydraulic Power Units to the procedures established by Berendsen Fluid Power.

**Those skills include**:

- Ability to follow shop drawings, written instructions & direction from the shop foreman to assemble HPUs in accordance with industry standards
- Advise Fabrication Shop Supervisor and/or Fabrication Shop manager of any concerns or issues pertaining to any particular HPU or Assembly which may adversely affect performance or BFP’s ability to meet scheduled ship date
- The ability to safely carry out all duties assigned to ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements
- Welding & fabricating, machining, hydraulic tube bending & flaring, pipe threading & fitting, operation of a forklift, overhead crane & lifting

**Qualifications**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Welding and fabricating skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Forklift Certification preferred
