**Summary**

Reporting to the Superintendent, the OHS Advisor is responsible for performing clerical duties to project an image and progression of health and safety within the company.

**Job Descriptions**

The HSE Administrator and/or designate will
- Prepare and organize performance reports;
- Coordinate with departments to obtain HSE statistics;
- Coordinating the request for information;
- Tracking of incidents, corrective actions, and close-out dates;
- Conformance tracking;
- Ordering of supplies and inventory management;
- Facilitate procurement logistics;
- Training administration;
- Monitor training management platform inboxes and add/remove information;
- Provide clearance for new workers being onboarded to project;
- Administer and complete requests for HSE qualification including preparing qualification docs. For HSE Leadership review;
- Administer HSE contractor gap analyses and provide updates to HSE team leaders on contractor progress;
- Correspond with contractors and facilitate onboarding of contractor employees for projects sites;
- Receive permitting requests from HSE & CMT team members;
- Prepare, obtain, and organize the required supporting documents for permits;
- Tracking overall closeout progress for permits;
- HSE schedule/rotation administration;
- Claims and medical information administration;
- Tracking hours of work for HSE staff;
- Reviewing document submissions;
- Organizing the HSE group inboxes;
- Submitting routine documents to client i.e Clearance reports;
- Administering NORCAT requirements;
- Development and distribution of bulletins, guides and flyers for safety programs and notices;
- Tracking incentive programs;
- Tracking HSE Leadership (including other) meeting minutes, follow-ups on action items;
- Scan, print and classify HSE documentation;
- Communicate updates to team leaders;
- Assist HSE leadership with documentation on standards, including development of conformance documents for HSE staff, such as roles, responsibilities, and expectations.

**Required qualifications**
- Experience working on mining sites (surface) is an asset;
- Relevant experience on mining site in Ontario;
- WHMIS, Lockout/Tagout, Supervisor Health & Safety Awareness, Worker Health & Safety Awareness, Surface Common Core modules, Generic Front Line Supervisor Program, Train the Trainer, Half Mask FIT Test.

**Skills required**
- Strong management, communication and problem-solving skills;
- Bilingual is an asset;
- Ability to show initiative and leadership;
- Ability to adjust priorities according to operations.

**Working conditions**
- Work location : Cote Gold, Ontario;
- Schedule : 14/14. day shift;
- Remoteness bonus and transportation allowance;
- Room and board;
- RRSP with employer contribution.
