**Your responsibilities**:
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements;
- Maintains the general ledger, reviews and prepares journal entries, and ensures proper documentation and reconciliation of accounts;
- Conducts variance analysis and ensures that variances and balances are understood and justified;
- Support the preparation of tax returns, liaise with government authorities and ensure compliance with tax regulations;
- Provide accounting expertise to the internal team on site;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the executive team, to provide financial insights and support business initiatives;
- Perform the complete accounting cycle including adjustment entries;
- Perform all other related tasks.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting;
- Hold the CPA designation (asset);
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in accounting or finance;
- High knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards;
- Knowledge of the AS400 program (asset);
- High knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Interpersonal skills to communicate and manage a team.

Pay: $85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
