**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

**SCOPE**

The Coordinator, Chelsea Resiliency Lodge will be responsible for assisting with the operations, events all activities and working collaboratively with the Lodge staff, NWAC team and guests.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Main activities**:

- Ensure all programs are successfully delivered in a culturally appropriate and trauma informed manner.
- Scheduling events, handling guests at eth lodges.
- Help to ensure budgets are followed, services staff and all duties are completed at lodges
- Ensure detailed workplans are in place and followed.
- Maintain a professional attitude and behavior when dealing with participants in an efficient and empathic manner online and in-person.
- Ensure welcoming of participants to workshops whether online or in person.
- Follow Lodge care policy and procedures.
- Follow established protocols for staff and participants.
- Follow strict confidentially rule, Code of Ethics and professionalism at the Lodge.
- Order of food and supplies as required.
- Organizing and coordinating group events as required.
- Respond to employee requests and questions.
- Prepare correspondence, monthly and end of year reports.
- Follow all policies and protocols respecting property management including inventory, cleanliness, and maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Work collaboratively with the internal and Communications department to promote the Lodge program.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- 3+ years of experience working in not-for-profits, Friendship Centre, crisis centre, shelter or other similar type of organization.
- Post Secondary Degree in social work, education or other related fields.
- Experience in not-for-profit’s preferred.
