Inventory Control Clerk

Hanover, Canada Exceldor Cooperative Full time

For the needs of the operations of its Hanover plant, Exceldor Cooperative is looking for an **Inventory Control Clerk**. Reporting to the Maintenance Planner, the incumbent of this position will be responsible for maintaining parts, inventory, quality, and control.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Will be a part of the IT Maintenance program implementation team.
- Prepares parts requisitions.
- Receives shipments from vendors, confirm accuracy of invoices and quantities.
- Working with the Maintenance Planner to confer with suppliers regarding late deliveries, maintaining proper records, and preparing work orders.
- Assign parts received to the appropriate employees for open work orders.
- Enter receipt and distribution of parts/supplies into computer to update inventory records.
- Conducts periodic regularly scheduled inventory to assure proper availability of required stock.
- Maintain bin labels.
- Cycle counts and inventory.
- Manage inventory in designated areas and ensure that parts are stored and identified in an orderly manner to make them easily accessible.
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures while working in the plant.
- Ensures all work comply with regulatory, HACCP and SQF requirements.
- Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with all members of the maintenance team.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
- Other duties as assigned.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Completed grade 12 or equivalent.
- 1 - 2 years parts management experience preferred.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent typing skills.
- Must have flexibility in working hours.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.

- Hanover, ON N4N 3C1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
