**Position Overview**:
We’re looking for a dynamic and passionate Tech Lead to join Weeko, a promising startup in the home services industry. This role is an incredible opportunity for an entrepreneurial tech leader to come on board at an early stage and grow alongside the company. You’ll play a fundamental role in building our platform, setting our technical direction, establishing best practices, and exercising a high degree of creative control from the ground up.

As the Tech Lead, you’ll work closely with the founder to bring Weeko’s vision to life, making strategic decisions and hands-on contributions as we scale. This position offers substantial career growth; as Weeko progresses, you’ll be positioned to step into the **Chief Technology Officer (CTO) role**, having been instrumental in the platform’s development from the start.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the technical design and architecture for Weeko’s platform, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and growth strategy.
- Oversee the entire development process, providing guidance and support to team members while maintaining high standards for quality and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold code quality, best practices, and technical consistency.
- Collaborate closely with the founder and other stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring smooth and effective progress.
- Develop and maintain both the frontend and backend of the platform, taking full responsibility for the technical stack and ensuring seamless integration and functionality across all components.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and keep Weeko’s platform at the forefront of the home services industry.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in modern programming languages, such as JavaScript (Node.js), Python, or Java.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and infrastructure management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment, working both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

**Equipment Requirement**

To succeed in this role, you must have your own computer that meets the necessary technical specifications for development work. Your device should be capable of handling both frontend and backend development tasks efficiently. This requirement ensures you can work independently and maintain productivity in a remote or startup environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
