Civil 3D Cad/survey

Grizzly Excavating is currently looking to add a Civil 3D CAD/Surveyor to our team.
Grizzly provides construction and trucking services for municipalities, developers, and residents of the Okanagan Valley. We focus on road building, water, storm, and sewer mainline installations, sub-divisions, commercial/residential construction as well as offering our own gravel sales.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Systematically organize project files and drawings on company servers and keeping the servers organized
- Updating project folders and files as jobs progress and revisions are made
- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed
- Civil 3D CAD
- Create and manipulate layout points from design surface
- Work with and manipulate given design alignments
- Survey
- Trimble GPS and Robotic Total Station experience
- Construction Layout experience
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A Civil Engineering Technology Diploma is an asset, but not necessary
- Proficient in the use of Autodesk Civil 3D and related analysis tools is a requirement
- Construction field experience is an asset
- Proficient in the use of Office Suite products (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent technical, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
**EXPERIENCE**:
- Knowledge of relevant municipal/provincial engineering standards and regulatory requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills, including the ability work in a team environment
