Imperial Dade Canada, leading national distributor, has a job open in Saint-Laurent. The Financial Analyst is responsible for any combination of financial and business information and analysis in support of the company's annual planning, forecasting and reporting processes. The Financial Analyst will provide support to the Senior Manager Financial Planning & Analysis, the President and all the Strategic Business Unit Leaders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with accounting to ensure the integrity of our financial results at month end close
- Understand and analyze the performance drivers of our business as compared to prior year budget and forecast
- Develop a strong technical understanding of our Activity Based Costing Tool in order to become a reference on it
- Responsible to maintain our Activity Based Costing Tool
- Provide support to the President and the Sales operations team & participate on special projects that are in alignment with company-wide goals and make presentations & recommendations
- Involve in the annual budgeting process and forecast
- Improve and automate our different processes
- Prepare profitability reports by customer for the sales team
- Create, prepare and analyze different sales and margin scenarios

Qualifications:

- Bilinguism (French and English)
- Proficient with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Powerpoint,Outlook, Word)
- Autonomous and organizational skills
- Problem-solving skills (analytical and intuitive)
- Time management skills & capacity to manage priorities and respect important deadlines
- Must enjoy precise work, requires an affinity for details
- The incumbent will need to be familiar with company systems, processes, and resources
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- University degree in Accounting or field related
- An accounting designation or in progress will be an asset
