A _**Airport**_ _**Shift Manage**_r to provide an outline of the responsibilities assigned to the position in the Winnipeg Airport. This position reports to the Airport Operations Manager to ensure the successful management of the services that Logixx Provides to the Winnipeg Airports Authority.

Due to the varying conditions and the ever changing environment, this document could not list every possible scenario that may occur. In the event that you are unsure of the responsibilities or what action to take, do not hesitate to contact the Airport Operations Manager or designate.

**Required Qualification**:

- Positive outlook and enthusiasm for the Airport Community.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain a valid **RAIC.**:

- Ensure the site vehicles are properly maintained and clean
- Ensure In-Time is updated on a daily basis
- Assist the Airport Operations Manager with the schedules to ensure the scheduling is complete one month in advance for the assigned site and it conforms to the requirements stipulated in Collective Agreements or Labor Standards
- Ensure the site has up-to-date and comprehensive Site Standing Orders
- Report emergencies to the Airport Operations Manager
- Conduct shift briefings and attend other meetings as required
- Perform yearly employee evaluations and document random and routine employee checks
- Responsible for ensuring compliance of Health & Safety, Labour Relations rules, Collective agreements and external governing authorities
- Maintain a broad understanding and knowledge of current rules, regulations and statutes imposed by authorities having jurisdiction and ensuring these are followed by all personnel to ensure 100% compliance
- Making sure new hires have received the correct training for the assigned position and documentation provided to the Airport Operations Manager
- Federal Legislation, CASAR's and ASM's knowledge
- Booking drive tests for the safety & security officers
- Training Logixx Staff
- Takes calls from the AOC and coordinates the correct response
- Participates in Mock exercises when required by WAA
- High level of customer service at all times ensuring all personal are wearing the correct SRG issued uniform and that their appearance and hygiene are of a professional standard
- Ensures all staff are performing their duties correctly as per the SOPs and KPI's in place Will assist in fence walk, coordinated by WAA twice a year Performs other tasks and duties as assigned
