We are seeking to hire a **Maintenance Parts Planner** to compliment our current team on the afternoon shift at our **Mississauga, Ontario** location.
The primary responsibility of this position is to support the shop and technicians by planning and providing parts for upcoming repairs, providing supplies and assisting with all other avoidable barriers that stand in the way of effective and efficient repairs and maintenance.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Identify and ensure availability of all parts and supplies for all jobs in the shop and provide updates on parts that need to be sourced
- Inspection of trailers before they come in to the shop to identify requirements
- Update repair quotes with part information and pricing
- Identify and communicate work order warranty requirements to technicians and shop supervisor
- Maintain relationship with parts supplier to assist in timely delivery, billing and support
- Maintaining communication with Parts Manager for rush orders, inventory concerns etc.
- Maintain and organize inventory
- Ensure paperwork is detailed, accurate and timely
- Assist in shop organization and facility maintenance when required
**Qualifications**:
- Grade 12 or equivalent with trade training
- Industry related experience is considered an asset
- Knowledge and experience with Truck and Trailer maintenance
- Comfortable working in a high paced environment
- Ability to use hand tools
- Strong data entry and computer skills (MS Office, Cetaris etc.)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
