**Description**

This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager and is responsible for working with our laser and press brake operator teams, operating any of the machines as required that day.

**Responsibilities**
- Represent Delta’s core values of _**Integrity, Service and Quality**_ in relationships with both internal staff members and external customers and suppliers.
- Follow Delta Elevator policies and procedures, Employee Manual, and Health & Safety Manual Guidelines
- Operate the CNC laser cutters and press brakes.
- Verify the parts to their drawings using the provided measuring devices.
- Deburr sharp edges.
- Move parts to next station.
- Do regular maintenance on machine.
- Program the CNC machines using provided software.
- Operate material handling equipment including forklift, crane and pump cart.
- Keep area clean and well organized.
- Additional duties as required.

**Authority**
- Prevent the use of unsafe, non-conforming or environmentally damaging product.

**Qualifications**
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes
- Mechanically apt (using hand tools, understanding of wrenches, hardware etc.)
- Physically capable (parts are heavy and need to be lifted and moved frequently)
- Able to attain forklift and crane operator licenses
- Experience with laser cutters is an asset

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
