Job Title:
Painter

Job Summary:
At Lane One Homes Ltd. We create innovation for the next generation of housing. We factory produce our steel frames and provide on site installation. We had everything from the delivery of the unit to the final finishing touches. We are currently seeking a skilled painter. Painters are responsible for prepping and painting are all areas of the homes such as moulding, doors, trim, walls, and ceilings. This position can be part time or full time position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Selecting the correct tools and paints for projects
- Preparing walls and other surfaces before painting
- Cover and tape exposed areas before painting
- Using fillers to repair cracks or nails holes
- Caulk around doors and trim
- Pick up materials such as paint, brushes, and other supplies
- Paint exterior of homes including trim and Hardie Board
- Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensure proper storage of materials and tools and disposal of waste.

**Requirements**:

- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
- Previous experience painting
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Good physical stamina and balance
- Knowledge with completing hazard assessments, inspections or the use of SiteDocs
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work tasks
- Attention to details and problem solving skills
- Ability to work well in teams as well as independently

**Experience**:

- Painting: 2 years (required)

**Job Type**:

- Part Time or Full Time

Job Schedule:

- Monday-Friday

**Salary**:

- $25.00-$30.00 per hour based on experience

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

Working Conditions:

- Working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Work Location:

- Primarily location in Surrey and Lower Mainland

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
