What we offer:
Dematic has an immediate need for an Installation Coordinator. This position will require travel throughout Canada (15-25% local, less than 5% out of town) in order to ensure site supervisors are performing their duties as anticipated and provide support for the install team. Occasional International travel may be required for training.

Under the supervision of the Installation Manager, the incumbent will work with the installation supervisors to help staff projects, support crews with ensuring proper tools, materials, PPE, consumable supplies are ordered and available for projects and service needs.

This role will also include administrative functions for approving timesheet hours, code and process supplier invoices, coordinate training activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with site supervisors to staff projects
- Ensure crews have required tools, materials, PPE, consumable supplies are ordered for projects and service needs. Order and track these items and coordinate any repairs needed.
- Ensure crews have required drawings and documentation needed to be able to successfully complete the install. Coordinate with engineering and project management to gather files or paper copies and distribute.
- Review invoices from suppliers and contractors to determine validity, code to appropriate project and process thru to finance department
- Coordinate training for site supervisors and workers for any safety, product, or tools and processes with internal resources or outside vendors
- Assist in tracking any priority needs of equipment with project management, engineering, procurement as needed
- Gather timesheets from each install supervisor, review, correct any errors, approve and process thru to payroll department.
- Participate in project kickoff and ongoing status meetings as required to support the successful implementation and coordination with other departments, contractors, suppliers.
- Attend post project meetings to recommend design or concept changes if problems arose during the installation process.
- Perform safety audits as assigned
- MS word, Outlook and Excel experience required

**Education**:
7-10 years of experience in the Material Handling Industry or other similar construction industries

Knowledge / Qualifications:

- Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and evenings to support project and service needs
- Experience in a leadership/supervisory role in industrial or construction environment
- Experience coordinating with various contractors, suppliers related to industrial or construction service and supplies
- Must have a “big” picture focus in both departmental and company strategy
- High energy, enthusiastic, motivational style
- Excellent creative and conceptual thinking abilities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong people management and leadership skills
